The chairs and benches feature a seat specially contoured to provide the utmost in comfort and the table top includes an umbrella hole large enough to fit most all outdoor umbrella poles.

No umbrella? No problem! A matching DURAWOOD® plug is also include to help cover the umbrella hole when not in use.

All joints where the end of a board meets a face of another are made with the ancient carpentry method of mortise and tenon: a trademark of wooden artifacts found in Egyptian pyramids dating back to 2500 BC. This helps to make the furniture rock solid. Most other chairs merely have butt joints at these intersections to save time and money.

Our DURAWOOD® is made from HDPE recycled consumer plastic like old milk jugs that's been sterilized to eliminate impurities. The resulting rigid material is identical to painted wood but with out the maintenance. DURAWOOD® contains no waste-wood fiber, so it not only won't absorb water, but it also won't rot, splinter, crack or attract termites. It also never needs paint, stain or any other kind of sealant, yet holds up to vigorous rains, extreme temperatures and high winds, making it the perfect outdoor furniture material.

Hardware consists of marine-grade, 316 stainless steel to provide ultimate durability. Not all stainless steel is created equal. We have even primed and painted the heads of the hardware to match the color of the poly lumber.

Screws and bolt heads are gracefully obscured from the front view of the furniture. All joints and attachment points are painstakingly engineered to remove all visible hardware from the front view of the the chairs, benches and table.
